This morning last minute Jake says, "Let's go to the zoo.". Okay. The zoo is in downtown San Antonio which is about 30 minutes. Once we get there we realize it is a zoo with tons of people everywhere and the line was a mile long. We had forgotten that it is Spring Break and also Holy Week. The Mexicans come here to shop and such during this holiday. So we decided to head over to the Botanical Gardens instead.
Victoria wanted to get out of her stroller right away and sniff the flowers.....really sniff the flowers.
All was great until the very end when we were confronted by the EASTER BUNNY! Victoria was frightened. She wouldn't look. The thing kept motioning for her to come closer...was it crazy? Every time she would look up, there it was reaching out for her. I finally carried her off, but when we got to the car she started screaming. "What's wrong Victoria? Use your words.". With a very worried expression, she signed the word for "rabbit". "Oh Victoria, the Easter Bunny is gone. All done. Bye bye. Do you understand?" She seemed satisfied and nodded yes. She was asleep before we left the parking lot.
