We went to Natural Bridge Caverns last weekend. The line was far longer than we expected so we decided to explore the grounds. There is actually a lot to do like panning for gems, repelling and rock climbing.

Victoria carried this rock around calling it her baby. Once we convinced her to put down the rock, she told us she had a rock in her belly.

There is a little park there with dinosaurs you can climb.

Bluebonnets are Texas' most famous wild flower. They're hard to find when its so dry, which it has been. Bluebonnets are quite impressive when you find an entire field of them. Not so much when there is only a few.

After touring the grounds the line for the caverns was gone. We talked to one of the guides and he told us the best time to come is early in the morning when they open or late in the afternoon...like 4:45. So we decided to go after all. See the next post about the caverns.
