Natural Bridge Caverns

I can't believe we live so close to such a beautiful place! Its absolutely amazing that all this exists underground. Victoria loved the walk and occasionally asked, "Where are the dragons?"

Natural Bridge Cavern is "alive" and still growing. Its very warm and humid down there at 70 degrees and 99% humidity compared to a "dead" cave like Carlsbad Cavern in New Mexico is 56 degrees and 90% humidity and is no longer growing.

Victoria and I admiring the rock formations. They were very wet and slimy looking but don't touch. Touching kills the formation and it turns black.

One of the tour guides took this picture. We did not take a tour though. We prefer to go through the cave at our own pace since we have Victoria. You never know when you might need to make a hasty retreat.

Our descent into the cave is steep and wet.
