We moved up to Washington state in May. Its a lot cooler here, sorta like Germany, but the nights get a lot colder here. We found a house that backs up to the greenspace in DuPont. We are surrounded by trees on two sides. In the trees is a marsh which means we get tons of mosquitos...not very pleasant. However, on those few hot days we've had its been nice to be well shaded.

This is just a few minutes from our house. We went to the sound during the lowest tide of the year to find starfish and sand dollars among other things. This is victoria with a starfish.
